A former corporate solicitor who also served as a special adviser to First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, she has held the environment, net zero, and transport portfolios since entering Parliament and was appointed Cabinet Secretary for Housing in 2025.
Richard John Brodie is a Liberal Democrat councillor for Annandale South on Dumfries and Galloway Council, elected in 2017 and re-elected in 2022. He has stood in Dumfriesshire at the 2016 and 2021 Holyrood elections and is also on the Lib Dem South Scotland regional list for 2026.
